Behind Three Asters
Hi! I’m Chelsea - Owner & Head Baker at Three Asters. I’m not great at keeping it simple, but I’m going to give it a shot...I grew up in a bakery! One so very different than the work I do now. I even had a little nap bed underneath the pie-making tables. I can’t help but blame my love for all of this on the atmosphere of the bakery my Meme created - and my aunt and mom continued - from the ground up.
I had been creating cakes for my kids birthdays since my oldest (now 7!) turned one. In September ‘23, I had the conversation with someone that really got me seriously considering opening a business. Not even a month later, Three Asters Bakery was born! I am still learning and constantly signing up for classes; being self-taught is wonderful in that aspect, I am always feeling like there is more to learn and do!
My husband Matt and I have three kiddos. Camden is 7, and Blakeslee and Beckham are 5-year-old twins. All three are September babies (just a week apart!) and one of the September birth flowers is an Aster! Since I had planned to make florals the highlight of my business - Three Asters Bakery seemed like a perfect fit for a name!
